1. Select your latitude
Slide the little arrow to your latitude (use the Latitude Finder if needed).
2. Set the date
On the centre bridge, move the small black slider to today’s month/position.
3. Open the dial
Rotate the inner ring out 90° and twist the bridge so the black slider faces morning or afternoon.
4. Read the time
Hold the sundial by its cord and slowly turn it towards the sun. A beam of light will shine through the small hole and land on the hour scale inside the ring—read where the light dot falls.

Set Your Latitude
Slide the small arrow on the outer ring to match your location’s latitude.
Set the Date
